Well, I have seen the name K'naan for a while now and never heard anything until now. OUT of the 4 joints I heard - These I liked Alot. The other two were also really good, just not my taste.
Kicked Pushed: Some of you may have heard or read about what happened in Sweden's Gothenburg. Where after the performance a bouncer wouldn't allow me to go backstage to collect my things, though I had my pass in hand. The story is deep, and Sol Guy (my friend and manager) ended up going to jail for the night in Sweden. And me and the band spent the night at the station waitin for him. While it was us who were disrespected and actually physically assaulted, it was also us who were betrayed, processed and reminded of the diseases in the human heart. Fortunately, we were traveling with a camera and so we have some of those people and some of the situation on camera.
Those of you who know my music know that I've never really written for leisure. And that my experiences have always been at the forefront of my music. And you must agree, rarely is life uneventful. But this one called for special presentation. So I wrote a song, using Lupe Fiasco's Kick Push instrumental. Documenting the experience we had in Sweden, I call this song... KickED PushED. We also put together a video for the song, using the ACTUAL footage from the scenario. Nothing is re created, or re enacted, everything that you see is REAL.
Peace WORLD. Beef WORLD. haha I gotta say that I am A not only a FAN of The Chi-town heavyweight battle emcee "RHYMEFEST" but I am A Supporter with Alot of Respect for the cat.
For those who havent been following hiphop in chigago since the 90's lemme just say. Do some research on RHYMEFEST so you have A slight Idea of why I respect him so much.

There Are A Million Plus Recording Artists out there. There are even more people just RECORDING WHAT EVER COMES OUT OF THEIR MOUTH FOR STATUS OR MONETARY GAIN.
From what I have heard from Big Sean is, he Is A dope Emcee, who is definitely A product of our younger Generation | Post Golden Era who just happens to have a little bit of dopeness in all the characteristics it takes to make it in the new "Rap Game".
Tho Id Rather listen to BLU rocking over A track by AFTA-1with Vikter duplaix and Mr Nnaji on the hooks (Haha, that pretty much sums up The music I am extra passionate about all in one fake fantasy collab), than listen to a whole album of big sean, but I wont skip the radio if Big Seans on. That is in no way A negative Statement either. I hope to hear more Tracks like "People Mover" and "You" from Big Sean. He has the Right Connection and the right resources, lets hope he uses them to change what the majority is prone to listen to and/ buy rather than dumbing dumb to Apeal to that crowd.

Last night I laser-etched the top of my Eee PC with the complete level maps of Super Mario Land ( on the Game Boy).
Everything from the familiar layouts of 1-1 to the climactic battle with Tatanga in the clouds at the end of 4-3 is represented in the etching.This was made possible with the laser cutter at NYC Resistor in Brooklyn ( www.nycresistor.com ), where you can go to get your laptop etched too! I set the laser in raster mode at 70% speed and 40% power to achieve this look.
I've spent hours upon hours these last 4 month researching content to post for you guys and instead of posting stuff immediately I save things in A Folder to be posted later. I guess there is so much dope things that I get excited and keep searching and searching. End Result is I have A Folder of 2,326 available things to post now as of September hahaha. The reason I bring this up is there was A dope site where you create things of paper. So now I will start going back and posting what I have saved for you guys. I hope you Enjoy! HsH _____
