MTV HONORS U-N-I AS BEST BREAKOUT L.A. ARTIST FOR 2008 VMAS
Thurzday & Y-O Voted as Best Local Artists
Los Angeles, CA--- U-N-I wins MTV's Best Breakout L.A. Artist award
for the 2008 Video Music Awards. Their July performance at The Roxy
for MTV2 and Timer Warner Cable's "Road to VMAs" was voted as the fan
favorite. Judges Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio, Kat Von D, and The Game
all gave their blessings as Thurz and Y-O battled against fellow L.A.
artists The Ruse and End Roulette for the title. Stay tuned for
U-N-I's winning "Beautiful Day" live performance and interview
broadcasted on MTV's "The AfterParty" next month.
