Portable - AUDIO production / BEAT MAKING programs, Applications (PRODUCERS HEAVEN)

Peace World, 1st I would like to say sorry for the delay in posts the past few weeks. I have actually had this post parked in Draft-mode for a week and just have not had the proper time to dedicate to the internet. Usually I wouldnt even mention that and just post when I post but the reason for my brief hiatus and this post have A Common Factor. "The DrumLove" hahaha.

1'st A little scatterbrained back story if I may, (yes you may: says my imaginary responsive reader board of directives) Those who know of me or this website based on my music as "Dutchmassive" would or rather should know that I got into the emcee / producer game while I was in the Marching band Drumline. What you may not know is a few years back A Local (Tampa Bay) Producer / DJ / Graphic Artist / Computer Genius by the name of Ran Knaff (professionally known as RANMECCA) held of few producer based showcases named "DRUMLOVE"

Being A Tampa Artist, I was asked to perform at one of these showcases and by doing so I put together A 34 minute Beat Set which showcased my production ranging from 2000-2007 - Had some random old joints, stuff from my still Unreleased "Music 2 Sleep To" project and a few others..... So nearly 9 months later I put together A Instrumental Mini Project for the website / Radioshow "BTS RADIO" which was Andew Meza's show.... which featured my man Samiyam, and a grip of other producers who has since gained alot of momentum - Flying Lotus Eric Lau, Ras G, pretty much the Brain Feeder Collective. Anywho, I sent the project to Andew and he turned it down and didnt want it for BTS, so I sent it out to a select few people and it ended up on Every Blog and website, The 1st to feature it was my man Frank fom RAPPERSIKNOW.COM the same Day it was on FORMATMAG.COM and then it just took off from there, DJ's were playing it during there live sets, Radio shows etc........

A few months ago, RANMECCA hit me up because of an program/App he was creating for the I-phone - The DRUMLOVE APP. which I beleive will be launched very sooon. So In the Spirit of Audio productions transition from huge machines to now becoming staples of society on cellphones and video game consoles, I put together A Small post of A few cool apps/programs....... (IF YOU KNOW OF ANY OTHER ONES, LEAVE A COMMENT OR SHOOT ME A MESSAGE AND I WILL UPDATE THIS POST) which brings us to the reason I havent been on keeping up with the HSH or internet as a whole for that Matter.

So until then, Enjoy the 1st Installment, I want to give a shout to my mans N them, RAN, Mishoo, Intact! Buff1, ErockA, SPON (I got you next Duko), Sandman & Dynasty, Dj Fisher, Muneshine!, Illmind, Pk The Gift, Slop, Funkghost, Laws, my man K Skills (kaydee) and my family Majik Most & Celph Titled (get ready for Long overdue Equilibrium Reunion produced by the legendary BUCKWILD!)

"THE DRUM LOVE" EP - Produced by Dutchmassive by dutchmassive

THE DRUM LOVE EP - All tracks produced by Dutchmassive / All Additional sound editing, mixing, & Engineering by Dutch Also.

Sidenote: The one beat that plays while the "reporter" speaks to Dj Premier is Obviously A Dj Premier beat.

Feel free to download this. Blog it, Bulletin it, message boards etc......

Check out the Warp Release page: http://warp.net/records/harmonic-313/battlestar-watch-the-video-release-out-15th-june

Harmonic 313 (aka Mark Pritchard aka Troubleman aka Reload aka 1/2 of Global Communications aka 1/2 of the The Jedi knights...) came to Sixty40 for his first ever film clip. Despite releasing seminal records since the 90's and being on Warp Records since 1994 and being the poster child for super-technical, superbly-crafted, bass heavy, crazy-ass electronica there'd never been anything to translate his floor-filling tracks on TV. Crazy. Sixty40 had to pioneer a variety of new techniques to take an entirely open brief into a eye-popping warning of extra-terrestrial doom.

Shot stereoscopically (i.e. on 2 identical cameras separated in space to mimic 2 eyes) the clip uses a flicking technique that was inspired by 2 frame animations of 3D photos.

In this technique, a sense of depth is provided to the footage by changing between the left and right eye views between each frame. In moving footage, not only does it add a sense of depth but also a definite intensity and alternative reality to each scene. For different people, it can create a curious mental floatiness in some shots.

14KT - Nowalataz LP [FREE Download] - HsH featured Artist 14KT

New music from one of Ypsilanti’s finest,
14KT, off of his upcoming free download project, Nowalataz. The project is a batch of Donuts-inspired beats from 2006. If you like what you hear, you can catch KT (along with Buff1) opening for Mayer Hawthorne this fall across the country, check those dates out here.

"Whatupdoe? First off, I must say THANK YOU for supporting me and my music!!
As a result of your support, I want to share some upcoming music from my 2nd album entitled "Nowalataz".

"Also due to the success of my first album, "The Golden Hour", I will be releasing "The Golden Hour 2XLP" on (LIMITED EDITION GOLD VINYL w/ Full Cover Artwork) coming end of September. I will also be on tour with Mayer Hawthorne/Buff1/Houseshoes beginning September 5. A physical release of the "Nowalataz" Digital/CD is in the works."

Here it is… a project I unofficially had done since 2006. It started when James Yancey a.k.a. J Dilla passed that February. To cope with the death of my favorite producer, who I liked to call my unofficial “musical mentor,” I started making ‘donuts’ …uncontrollably. I never planned to release any of the material out of respect for Dilla & his craft. I’ve shared some of the music with others, in which they would repeatedly ask me to hear it, so I decided to put a little something together and make it official. JUST FOR YA’LL.

This is a collection of beats created about 3 years ago. Some ‘donuts’ style, some just around that era of 14KT beats. “Now & Laters” were always a favorite candy of mine. I used to go to Mindell’s Pharmacy in Ypsilanti back in the day and buy ALL of them. Sadly, I even stole change from my grandma’s (RIP) purse for them. They are addictive, yet fun to eat… something I found mutual when making music at the time. Ironically, I fell back in love with “Nowalataz” around this era (ask my homey Sarah “Merk Merk,” haha). Enjoy.

Sincerely, 14KT
