Royce Da 5'9" & DJ PREMIER - "Shake This" [VIDEO]

WORDS FROM THE HERO......

It is tracks like "SHAKE THIS" that you could play to a little timid grandmother in Idaho and she would be able to feel the message and passion beyond the track. This track is A heat rock and an absolute Instant classic. It is the lead single off of his album "STREET HOP" which brags DJ PREMIER as EXECUTIVE PRODUCER tho I believe "SHAKE THIS" is the only track he lended his production skills on (dont quote me on that tho). The VIDEO is directed by RIK CORDERO

Short side story: I sold my 92 caprice classic to my man RODNEY'S barber "D". real cool cat, didnt know him other than for the few minutes in which I would speak with him each week when I would scoop up my payment. I know he is aware of cats like Raekwon and ish and knew about his new album, but i think he is more used to the hiphop you hear on your local "CLEAR CHANNEL URBAN FM RADIO" so the last payment he asked me to drop him off somewhere on my way back home, So he gets in and i'm playing Illminds "Blaps Rhymes and Life" mixed with some other random bangers and beats to drive to and this song comes on "SHAKE THIS" - I could see the amazement on his face and how intense the emotions were when he heard this track pumping in the car and he turns to me and says where do you get music of this caliber.....Tho I was happy to see him get amped over dope hiphop. I gotta say I wouldnt think Royce is too obscure of a cat that he wouldnt know who he was, but it just made me think how many people would love the dope BOOMBAP or Jazzy or LAZY whatever HIPHOP or ANY GENRE for that matter that doesnt get played on the radio 40 times a day......but don't ever get exposed to it....

WORDS FROM THE HERO

Happy 300th post everyone! I know what you are thinking..... 300 posts? That isn't that many, well you are correct if the posts where made by A staff of writers, or if the posts were just thrown up without much thought.

The Truth is, The Hobbyshop Hero was created, designed and is solely maintained by Dutch VonEpp Ziegler, Professionally known as Dutchmassive, Also known as "The Hobbyshop Hero". This site was created as an extension of the Music I create and is used as my bridge from Artist to Fan, Created as A Fan.

Just as each word in each verse in each song in every album and each sound in each record sampled for every beat used to create my albums is precious and personal. So is the Content I choose to post in this forum dubbed, THEHOBBYSHOPHERO.blogspot. To be completely honest, I've spent more time from 2007 till now researching content, browsing the Internet, learning new programs, building my digital portfolio than I have creating music. Some times A post takes an hour or so, but many times 18 hours go into searching, editing, resizing, color coding and tweaking these posts. I'm very proud of how far the site has come from the birth till now. When I 1st created it, I never imagined getting 20,000 hits a day which isn't that much in the world of Web Sites, but I am happy to know that you are able to enjoy the things I get so excited about!

In Celebration of this monumental number (hahaha) I decided to give everyone A peak into my private Space and took photo's of "The Bed Room" the day before I packed everything up and moved shop!, The Images of my surroundings should give you an IDEA of why I am THE HOBBYSHOP HERO!

Thank You for your precious time!

Happy 300th post!

WORDS from the HERO

I think I have died and gone to heaven. I am extremely surprised that this is my 1st time coming across this cat for more than a few reasons. Vohn is the song of Legendary Super Producer S1 (Symbolyc One of Strange Fruit Project), I was put onto S1 before the 1st SFP Project was released, Slop, Surreal, Illmind, Etc so Again, Im surprised that this is the 1st time his Extremely young and Extremely talented son slipped past my radar.

VohnBeatz, Using Reason 3 and a compact keyboard controller seems to have begun making beats at the age of 9/10 and is now 11 years old and is on a very good path. Just watching the videos you can see it in his head nod, that this is going to be one soulful force to be looking out for. Expect his mixtape to be available the first quarter of 2009.

This is A very inspirational moment for me, seeing such talent in our youth. You can tell that he is truely in Love with the music. Reminds me of my 1st years.

Peace,

Dutch

Short description: In a dark room, a very particular tea ceremony describing the
relation beetween 2 lovers is about to take place.

Welcome back my Ninja's. Its been a short Hiatus since my last post so I knew for my return post I had to comeback with a BANG! I apoligize for the lack of updates the past few weeks. Ive had to focus my energies into starting my new label and researching Marketing strategies as well as creating new music and working on Cameos. I also Just resentlu purchase A Macbook and As a long time PC user it has taken alot of my time trying to learn and master all of the perks of being a MAC owner. but fear not I shall return full force by the end of the week and be on the look out for A Master Intergraded Format, tieing in All that I am involved in.

This Video I have posted is None other than Super Producer "Flying Lotus" 1 half of the Producer Duo FlyamSam with Samiyam, On the vocals we have Ahu and on the Director Tip and art Direction we have the almighty LCP-United crew who is without a doubt one of my favorite design teams. if you are a Avid Hobbyshop Reader you might Remember my Article on QUES aka Illlord. This will not be the last you see me post on this Camp..... If Karma really does exist and you get what you put in, then hopefully in the near future there will be a new Dutchmassive Video done by this team!!!!!

Untill next Time... Your Local Hobbyshop HERO, Dutchmassive
