Busting from the LuckyMe entrails is the newest release entitled 'Room Mist' EP, a 6 track collaborative project between Nadsroic and man of the moment Hudson Mohawke. Nadsroic - the singing/rapping alias of Ciorsdan Brown - was schooled in the Scottish Highlands, immersed in Celtic folk music via singing and classical fiddle before being dropped in the ugly Glasgow metropol of Hip Hop, Techno, Electro and club music.

The Nadsroic BIO
(from here ever so dope myspace page)

LuckyMe is very proud to present the first release from the collaborative project between Nadsroic and Hudson Mohawke. This EP contains 6 tracks of explosive future R&B , folk influences and dancefloor heat. With a mixture of club-friendly bangers such as Room Mist and Step Back and more reflective personal songs like Leopards and Chemical alongside All Hot- an almost unclassifiable blend of live percussion and ethereal diva vocals.

Nadsroic is the singing / rapping alias of Ciorsdan Brown alongside the young phenom' producer Hudson Mohawke. To date the young team have only played a handful of shows as Nadsroic including Radio One Sessions and live alongside Optimo - for whom they are also releasing a record on their Oscarr imprint. Ciorsdan was schooled in the Scottish Highlands immersed in folk music before being dropped in the ugly Glasgow metropol of hip hop, techno, electro & club music. With spells living in Copenhagen and currently based in semi-rural Japan it's hard to say where this 22 year old jetsetter picked up her natural sensibility for real pop and future R&B. When she's not teaching children, go see her in a rare live show either back home in Glasgow or Japan.

Based in Glasgow, UK, 23 year old Hudson Mohawke currently has the worldsʼ beat scene in a headlock with his heavy drum programming and cosmic synth slop. A teenage UK, DMC and ITF champion, Hudson honed his craft as part of the LuckyMe collective of dynamic, neo-beatmakers with a string of well received releases. In January this year he made his debut release on Warp records with the "Polyfolk Dance EP" and has been dubbed the labels 'secret weapon', clocking up serious international mileage with an impressive dj schedule. This release sees Mo explore his love of mainstream hip hop & rnb fused with the air of 1980's synthetic soul. We hope you enjoy the record.

The “Back in Black 2” T-Shirt Exhibit showcases original, one-color t-shirt designs by 17 of the best digital illustrators and designers in the US and Europe (who are behind our favorite t-shirts from popular apparel companies, bands and record labels).

Created in 2008, the purpose of this show is to highlight the artwork of the uncelebrated designers whose art you’ve probably been collecting in your closet for years, as well as to establish the t-shirt as a new medium for fine art.

WORDS FROM THE HERO CONTINUED.....

As said, I wanted explain my run in w/ the ever-so-dope PALEHORSE.
It was spring of 2008 and I was working for this Marketed company in South-Tampa which had me in A Suit and Tie, Working on commission only Selling Verizon and auditing bills and ish.... I would go door 2 door (buisiness 2 Buisiness only) and get them cheaper rates (which was cool because I was actually helping people instad of screwing em like most sales jobs)... During my 2nd week of training I ended up in Downtown St. Pete which was a ghost town 2 be honest but quite relaxing and beautiful in its design.... After A week and A half of Painful let downs and no sales I walked into the office / Design Studio of PALE HORSE... and no exaggeration, my heart dropped and I got goosebumps and butterflies.... The design and layout of the office was soooo Amazing and it was like a fantasy..... Since before I can remember I always had A dream of what I would want my career and ideal office to be and that day I walked into A replica of my dreams.....

I spoke w/ Chris, awed over the amazing artwork on the walls, he did end up letting me fix his bill (which I pray worked out for the best in the long run) and I left never to step foot back in there again....tho I did leave with a handfull of palehorse Stickers and since then I have applied to every graphic design office on monster/career builder from miami to Atlanta with no luck...... tho my graphic design skills arent the best, if I had the right oppertuniee and mentor I could be amazing......

well Enough of that I just thought it was cool that a year later after walking into that building, he is the mind behind this event I am posting about..... I hope to see you all there.

Peace.

Exile Freaks the MPC Live (Again) + Download Exile's album "Radio"

Exile Freaks the MPC Live (Again)

This is A Dope Video of Exile freakin his standout cut “In Love” live on the Mpc! Makes me miss my mpc2000 like Mugg, Tho I've mastered FL STUDIO, LOGIC PRO and Basically Anything I can get my hands on. There is nothing more Rewarding for A former Drumline LEAD SNARE and QUAD Player then to Tap out Drums and everything else on pads rather then editing notes w/ a mouse in A Step Sequencer Editor. As I always say tho, Its not what you have but who is behind the machine that matters. (THE GHOST IN THE SHELL) or something like that hahahahaha
It was also crazy to find out that Exile's latest album, Radio, was almost titled “Car Stereo”, He talks about how he was always making beats in the front seat with his mpc plugged into the cigarette lighter on tour and long road trips. Any who, Exile has now released A handful of dope videos in the past few months and has dropped Classic Record, one after the other since the days of me buying A Cassette tape of EXILE and ALOE BLACK'S ACID 9 Jawn.... and I gotta say..... Im pretty glad that cats like Exile don't stop making music and start working overtime in the local call center because "rap" isnt so kind on the pockets..

In Love from Yours Truly on Vimeo.

So, Im always torn between the concept of showing my support for an Artist. the Reality of it is..... I only promote Items, Clothing, music, games that I truly enjoy myself. And I always put 1 or more links to where you can purchase the Artists product. The part I am on the fence about is posting albums to download for Free. I know for instance, I download Alot of Free albums, but I also Buy the ones that I love, even If I downloaded it for free. Personally I am glad that people put my albums up for download. I admit, A few years ago I would get really upset when I saw things like that, but with the change of technology. I feel its needed to give people more chances to hear dope music in this saturated market flooded with Consumers with no Attention Spans...

SOoooo, Feel Free to download the album and if you like what you hear, support Exile by clicking on the other link to Purchase the album on Amazon. Or you could get it off I-tunes, etc....

And, I'll leave you w/ what could be compared to as presenting An Unfinished Painting that you pulled from your house while it was burning to the ground... This is (1 of 2) of the Only 2 Beats I was able to save before My MacBook Died. It was the 1st Beat I ever made In LOGIC PRO on the MAC after years of using Hardware and A PC. It's unmixed, The Sequences are missing So I only have the main loop w/ no change up's and it Distorts hahahaha but its Gritty, Dusty and Banging like I love em so without Further Uh-do (or however you say that phrase)..

In Closing,
The LAWS BIO!

Laws was born in Natal, Brazil. Who moved to Central Islip (hometown to hip hop legends – Keith Murray, K-Solo, JVC Force and more) which is located in Long Island, NY at a very young age. He started rhyming at the age of 14 on corner cyphas. It was about a 3 year period of straight freestyle battling that pretty much molded his patterns and flow that Laws use today. Upon his relocation to Florida, he found himself isolated from the general group of people due to his laughable bias against southerners, etc. Through this isolation, he further developed more skill. The time away from outside influences allowed to birth a style that was all his own.

Before the age of 18, Laws would enter battle competitions in Tampa (1 hour drive, he basically lives in the woods). Laws had to be snuck in using a poor fake ID, and argue for winnings because he was underage. The next couple years saw the release of some local “albums” with partner/producer L.A. (fellow Long Island, NY native), and the gradual increase of his abilities. Between now and that gray area, Laws has opened for Mars Ill, MF Doom, Snoop Dogg, DJ Premier and the Wu-Tang Clan (who he points out as his highest achievement thus far). He has considerable amounts of air time on all of the major Florida stations (with no radio single nonetheless).

Laws found out about Domination Recordings thru Majik Most who is one of the local heroes that he met through one of his various battles attended. “He liked my stuff; we linked up, and worked on some tracks that never saw the light of day. We have the same kind of sick, twisted humor so the collaboration we just recently did is sure to knock some socks off” said Laws who will be featured on Majik Most’s new album “You Got Jokes?!”

To wrap this all up, Laws says: “I’m not a crusader for hip hop. I never stand on stage arguing the existence of hip hop’s life or death. I’m just a regular guy with exceptional lyricism that enjoys hard hitting beats”. Excellent choice of words from one of the next dope MC’s!

THE END!
