"The Renaissance" is the latest album from A Tribe Called Quest's Super Emcee Front man, Q-Tip. This would be his 2nd offical studio album, following the [unreleased] and hella slept on Kamaal the Abstract (2002). The Release date for "The Renaissance" is November 4, 2008, the same day as the ELECTION! So I Beg and I can only hope that Most of America will be "Gettin ' UP" Early, VOTING! & SUPPORTING Q-TIP WITH A SOLID PURCHASE OF A SOLID ALBUM!!!!!

Q-Tip & Artists Like Digable Planets, Pharcyde, Etc.. were all catalyst for TheHobbyshopHero, Dutchmassive becoming a Musician himself. Hearing such great content coming from voices that lacked bass or any deepness gave me alot of inspiration and actually gave me alot of extra confindence in myself. As the years go by I watch as reviewers constantly compare my music 2 Q-tip, Common or Eminem hahaha, which is fine with me but I cant wait for the day I pass the torch and read a review where someone reminds a Reviewer of Dutchmassive hahaha

Ive Always been one to give respect and props t0 the artists that I grew up listening to, "GHIBLI" which is featured in the player above, you hear me give tribute to Q-tip and Large Proffessor (extraP) and give thanks for all the people who have Sampled my music, like Ive done to those before me. HOMER SIMPSON Votes for BARACK OBAMA (Episode Leaked)

I Wont Spend too much time on this subject, as it barely fits into the FORMAT of my site. However, I can remember drawing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Bart Simpson in Elementary school quite often. A very early Artistic stage of Dutch (hahaha) & I did grow up on The Simpson's as did the rest of my generation, but since the introduction of FAMILY GUY, I don't think I've caught A currant episode of the Springfield fam.

An episode which is supposed to AIR a few days prior to the Election (11/02/08) to be exact has leaked and is making more waves than the Simpson Movie. Homer Simpson goes into cast his vote for Barack Obama & it seems the machines are fixed. Each attempt to vote for Obama adds A vote for John McCain, After several attempts to choose Barack Obama, the Ballot machine Transforms and tries to Kill Homer Simpson.

ATTENTION: we at THE HOBBYSHOP HERO do not want to tell you who to vote for. We just ask that you please make it a priority to Vote. The deadline to register to vote is extremely close to us. Get Registered, and Flex your right to vote.
Remember, you can make a impact. That goes way beyond any political theme you may think we are getting at. Strength in numbers is huge. We do not have to be forced to listen to the same 8 songs each hour, every hour, every day...

I hope after this Election, when our generation realizes how much can be accomplished by just being Active, Alot of things Will change for the better. That's All, Back to our regularly scheduled program.

Peace, Once Again we come live & direct from the hobbyshop treehouse and in pure Super Dutch Fashion, I'm sending down the Dopeness ......Imagine us in the Tree house, filling the bucket with one of the dopest album's you've heard in decades. Placeing said bucket on a rope attached to your window a few houses down, and in a moments matter, we send that bucket across the rope (Pulley style) thru your second floor balcony........ (pause)......

aiight maybe, we have seen too many 80's style Innovative rebellious teen movies....but the imagery was just a little bonus. The real treat is my homie MONO/POLY has joined forces with one of the Modern day(true)hiphop Super hero's DJ JAMAD and has been added to the TASTEFUL LICKS roster. (congrats)

Now, I'll be the 1st to admit, that in this day N age there isnt too much need to sign your music away to anyone. I think my turning point in the matter was not only watching everyone jump ship from Rawkus as I just signed my 2nd solo album "Crush Your System" Away, but the fact that, Everything that Rawkus did, I could have done myself.
Lesson Learned. Life goes on. Altho, If I were to trust my hard work to anyone. Tastefull Licks would be high on the list, as DJ JAMAD is someone I highly respect.
On a Sidenote another Label I highly respect is DOMINATION. You Will be seeing the
physical release on CRUSH YOUR SYSTEM soon, with a whole new maker over.
