Not really much else to say other than the work speaks for its self. Please take time to visit the Links I provided above as there is so much talent radiating from this design camp its insane. FerrisBueller NIKE VS Goonies PUMA (80's Sneaker Trend)

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

My Favorite Matthew Broderick film to date, and one of the most influential characters to the boys / young men of the Nintendo Generation. Although a Huge fan of the movie, I cant say im too excited about this Sneaker. Nike has drawn inspiration from Ferris Bueller's Famous Wardrobe & created the Nike SB “Ferris Bueller” Dunks. The leather top of the shoe is the color scheme from Ferris Bueller’s leather Jacket, also the tongue and matching laces where inspired by his infamous leopard vest. This definitely isnt on my wish list this Xmass, but maybe some of my other Goonies will feel different. DISCLAIMER: NIKE nor THEHOBBYSHOPHERO shall be held liable for anyone who tries on the new SB's and dances in parades, skips school, quits work and/or steals cars. Speaking of Goonies.....

THE GOONIES X PUMA DISCBLAZE

Legendary 17th century pirate, One-Eyed Willie couldn‘t have seen this one coming PUMA got their hands on his buried treasure map. The actual map that was used by those kids from Astoria, Oregon in the 1985 film. Puma obtained exclusive rights to the artwork and constructed this LE release out of the map on our most iconic runner from the early 1980‘s, the Disc Blaze. It features the infamous Disc closure system, heavy weave pull tabs and exclusive Goonies film logos on heel, sockliner and midsole. The limited Puma “List” sneaker comes in a customized burlap Goonies sack. Enjoy your adventure trying to snatch these up.

Honestly, These are two of my all time favorite movie of the 80's.... and Honestly two of the most unappealing sneakers I have laid eyes on... hahaha mor info after the jump.

Pe@ce World... I am still trying to figure out this Podcasting thing as well as Blogging Via Email Feeds. I try to learn so much stuff on my own and there is only so much time in a day. I Write, Record, Sample, Produce, Mixdown, Graphic Design, Blog, Date, Work, Try to learn new software, etc.... Im sure you get the point, Waaah waaahh booo hoooo, Enough of my crying. Hopefully I master this stuff Sooner than Later so that I may Deliver the Content I wish to its maximum potential.

If Anyone Knows of any Sites that host Audio files for free so that I can PodCast Correctly, hit me up. If anyone Can help me obtain Adobe Illustrator CS3 for the Mac without me having to mess with Torrents let me know, And if anyone knows of good places for Brushes, Fonts, Filter, Plugins, For Illustrator /Photoshop (even tho I only have elements right now) hook it up. I recently converted from PC to MAC, which is cool, but I already had my PC with all the software decked out, now i gotta start from scratch........

P.s. haha This is the 1st actual Semi Personal Post from me on this Blog.

NIKE x APPLETREE RECORDS x 290 SQUARE METERS

"A Testament to A Vision" // "Craft Beats Mass" // "Quality is Time"

Inspired by Nike and Loopwheeler, 290 Square Meters & Appletree Records collective; "Pêche Noire" held a Beat session at Delta Beats Studio in honor of the Nike AW 77 sweater by Loopwheeler in Japan. What I feel took place here was quality recognizing quality, and by that I mean. The same Craftsmanship, Love, Positive energy and time spent on turning a Vision to A Substance that went into creating this sweater was echoed in Audio form by these 3 amazing producers

Pêche Noire consists of 3 beatsmith's:  Sotu the Traveller, Beau Love and Louis Bordeaux. All 3 producers have projects on Appletree Records.

BACK to the FUTURE - Season of McFly

    The Hobbyshop Hero presents...
 The McFLY Tribute Post
read on good people, read on......
Dutchmassive fun-fact #163 -  Dream car = The 1981 Delorean (The Year I was Born)

“McFly you bozo, Those boards don't work on water" / "unless you've got Power!"

Honestly If I had a choice,  Id still be the cat riding the Mattel Hover board, opposed to the diesel as F*** "Pitbul" Board.

Well I feel obligated as the self dubbed HOBBYSHOPHERO to broadcast one of my generations most sought after Items, I must also admit I kinda slacked off on reporting a Ebay Auction that just happend not too long ago with the BACK2TheFUTURE II Nike's... The Original Movie Prop, So Even tho I didnt get to that or the newly released Hyperdunk, I will post a few pictures in this post, then maybe i'll backtrack and re-touch base on those items in a more fullscale post, I must say its been A good year for McFly fans with Nike’sMarty McFlyHyperdunk release earlier this month, and now another very interesting auction just happened  on eBay. Offer from Profiles in History, an entertainment memorabilia seller in California. The Back to the Future II  Hoverboard was one of the few props created for the 1989 movie (and portion of 1990’s Back to the Future III). The starting bid was $30,000. The auction ended August 1st, with the highest bid ending at $55,000.

"957. Michael J. Fox “Marty Mcfly” hero Mattel hoverboard from Back to the Future Part II & Part III. (Universal Pictures, 1989, 1990) This is one of the hero Mattel Hoverboards used by Michael J. Fox in his most famous role as “Marty McFly” in the Robert Zemeckis classic 80s trilogy, Back to the Future. Two styles of Hoverboard were made for and employed in the film – lightweight boards of styrofoam construction and thick and durable wood-based props – this example is the latter, and is recognized as the best example of all wood Hoverboards to have survived the rigors of filming. The illusion of Michael J. Fox as “Marty McFly” hovering through the air was achieved with practical effects, with actors in rigged harnesses being “flown” via cranes, with special effects taking care of the rest.

Of the two styles of props used in the film – styrofoam and wood – the styrofoam examples in collections today have not held up as well, given the more fragile nature of the material and the abuse they endured in production. Few wood examples have survived, and the collector who obtained this specimen from the prop master chose this for his personal collection as the premiere example of those preserved following the film. It is in used but outstanding condition, and is very rare in that it is entirely complete and intact. Given the wood build and use of metal components, it looks and feels like a “real” prop. This piece has the complete fully functional and rear ballbearing-mounted footpad that rotates 360 degrees, as well as the bottom “magnet plates”. Of the two styles of stickers used for the effects, this prop has the “photoboard”-style sticker affixed. In addition, there is other textured styling and hand painting. This Hoverboard also features the hole in the top, representing where the handlebars were that “Marty” pulled off after borrowing the “toy” from the little girl in the film. $30000 - $50000" - TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM THE EBAY AUCTION -

Words from the HERO...
Fashion, Art, Music, Gadgets, Gizmo's, its all fair game in here, but the one thing about (TheHobbyshopHERO) that separates this blog from others that I have come across is when I make a post about an Artist or Fashion line, I don't just throw up a few examples and a small review. I really try to promote as much as possible in each post. Multiple upon Multiple pictures, songs, etc.

KiD Ninkimono is A very unique and fresh Design. As you read above, each piece is created with a personal touch and I find that Amazing. You will Defiantly be seeing alot more Collaboration between TheHobbyshopHERO, Dutchmassive & KiD Ninkimono!!
